2011 Father's Day~今年的父亲节-2011

老公, 你今年进入第六年过父亲节.  我们的大宝贝是进了第一年幼儿园,才懂得"什么是父亲节?" 回想当时, 怀他时是多么的快乐, 开心和兴奋.  在怀着他时, 不知他是男孩还是女孩?  当我们跟他说话时, 都会叫他"小贝贝" 只因你姓"贝"而这称呼也很好听.  接着, 两年后, 他带了弟弟, 二宝贝来.  又接着, 四年后, 他和弟弟带了, 三 宝贝来(他是最小的那个了)....^^

做爸爸不容易吧... :)
 有苦也有乐...
苦呢..当他们生病时, 连一秒都很难过..
  苦啊!! 当他们陶气, 不听话时..
乐呢..看着他们一天天, 健康快乐的成长...
  乐啊!! 当他们很贴心时..  看着他们睡了.. 像个小天使..多么的可爱..
就这样深深被他们吸引住了..
  注定爱上他们..爱一辈子.


他们到底还是个孩子, 我们就陪着他们走人生吧!!!

当天,去学校接大宝贝,他向我们跑过来说到"Daddy, 我有surprise给你...噹噹..."他就拿了这手工品送给爸爸.~when we reach tadika to pick him, he ran toward us and said "Daddy, I got a surprise for you...ta ta..." he took our this key chain...How sweet :)

This is the 6th year Hubby celebrating Father's Day. Shawn came to know 'what is Father's Day?" when he started to go to Montessori for the first year. He started to bring back special Father's Day hand craft every year since. Last year and this year we have two Father's Day hand craft from Shawn and Samson. They make this hand craft gift by themselves with their teacher's help.

This little rose cake you see here is the last tablespoon batter of my steamed coffee layer cake. Hokkaido Chiffon Cake - A Cake that will make you Smile (Bake Along #64)

I baked this cake once, twice, thirce and now i lost count BUT everytime i bake this cake i feel HAPPY. Hope this happy thoughts and feeling will spread to YOU ^_^ Happy that the cake rise beautifully and with almost no shrink or crack. Happy that my boys and friends love this cake. I baked this chiffon cupcake again for Bake Along event. I am going to Bake Along with these 3 beautiful ladies again.  This is a revisit of this recipe - HERE The previous post of Hokkaidao chiffon cupcake, i used durian cream as filling. Now in this post i used vanilla whipped cream/Chantilly cream as filling. I love to use dairy whipping cream as filling. Just add adequate of icing sugar/castor sugar to the whipping  cream and whisked it to light and fluffy. Then mix in any flavor that you like into the cream and piped it into the cake. A Sarawak Cake ~ Cake Hitam ( 砂劳越的蛋糕 ~ 黑美人蛋糕)

Sarawak is famous of its' Steamed Cakes and Layer Cakes (Kek Lapis). Steamed Cakes in Sarawak are mostly steamed for hours. I have done a steamed cake that took me 7 hours to cook. Can you imagine that!!  Crazy me!! I can't believe that i have done it just because i love that particular cake so much. I have tasted the cake in a Malay friend's house while go visiting on a Hari Raya. The name of that Cake is Kek Hati Parek. This Malay friend of mine, she is so so kind to share her recipe to me.
