Hahaha!!  Anyway, my family is a big fan of Durian. This is a treat for them since i have a box of frozen durian in the freeze. 'Shh!! i always have a box of durian standby in the freezer...lol" This durian cheesecake is easy to whip up. It is a heavy type of cheesecake. It is rich, smooth and i like the addition of coconut milk in it. Coconut milk pair so well with durian. Do you like durian dodol? The taste is something like that but with rich thick and smooth texture from cream cheese and durian puree. Durian Cheesecake Just a simple shake of cocoa powder will give a pretty deco too. Durian Runtuh..Durian Runtuh This year durian in Miri is selling like hot cake. It's so cheap compare to previous year. Previous years it is selling by weight like RM10-13 a kilogram but this year it is selling like 1 fruit cost RM2.50 - 3.00 I even heard my nanny told me there is RM1.00 for a durian selling in the wet market..:p Cheap!! I have the chance to buy more to keep for my bakes..LOL 榴莲，榴莲飘香~~ 今年的榴莲跟往年不一样.今年的可是便宜的很. 一公斤往年卖RM10-RM13不过今年就卖一堆3粒RM10, 有时还可以买到一粒RM2.50 - RM3.00 :D 往年都买了就吃完, 我都没机会留来做烘焙. 今年太棒了, 可以买了好一些,把果肉拔了冰冻起来备用..哈哈 ~o~ I kept the durian fleshes in small airtight containers.
