I like the smooth and creamy taste and texture of Panna Cotta. It is simple to prepared and can be any flavor.

A friend gave me some red dragon fruits. I use some of the dragon fruit to make into this Dragon Fruit Panna Cotta. I like the purple pink colour.

Dragon Fruit Panna Cotta...火龙果奶冻
Recipe source: Adapted from No Bake Dessert Basico
1 piece vanilla pod
200ml whipping cream
3 pieces gelatine leaves
40g red dragon fruits (puree)
(peeled and cubed the dragon fruits and blend the dragon fruits with a hand blender, then sieve it)
- Split the vanilla pod in half, use a knife to scrape out the seeds. Soak the gelatin leaves in ice water until softened, strain.
- Mix vanilla seeds with pod, milk and whipping cream. Bring all to boil over low heat, add in sugar and stir well to dissolve. Remove the vanilla pod.
- Remove from heat. Add in gelatine leaves and stir well to dissolve. Divide the mixture into half. Add the dragon fruit puree into one part and leave one part plain.
- Pour mixture into the cups, chill in the fridge until set. Unmould and serve when the Panna Cotta is set.
