Tea Time 13 ~ Cream Corn buns

Its afternoon tea again, today we are having cream corn bun. This is a corn shape bun, looks like a seashell. I like this because I can filled it with any flavour of cream. Like this ones I filled it with blueberry cream cheese, Mmm.....yum. Tea time 12~ Spiderman buns

Haha..I saw this spiderman buns in a bakery magazine in a bookstore. I found it very interesting. I decided to do them for Shawn and Sam for a surprise. Ingredients for the dough: 250ml cold water 50g whip cream 7 tbsp castor sugar 1/2 tsp salt 500g bread flour 2 tbsp milk powder 40g butter 2 tsp instant yeast Method: 1) Again I use Noxxa Bread maker to make my dough. Put all the ingredients into the bread pan. First add in wet ingredients, then dry ingredients. 2) Press mode 11, this mode included mix, knead and first proof of dough. 3) When the dough is ready just take it out from the bread pan and divide into 30g each round doughs. Marble CheeseCake

This is a Chilled Marble CheeseCake, its a simple yet a real nice dessert. Its a smooth cream cheese with the mix taste of dark chocolate rum and vanilla and a sweet biscuit base. You could prepare it for a Saturday night dessert when have friends coming over for a dinner. ~Chilled Marble Cheese Cake~ I am using Dark Toblerone with almond nougat in this chilled cheese cake... ^^ The base of this cake I am using sweet biscuits. You can use digestive biscuits too. Base ingredients: 150g digestive biscuits 60g melted butter Ingredients for the filling: 250g cream cheese 80g castor sugar 1 egg 1 tbsp gelatine powder 2 tbsps water 250ml whipping cream ~ whipped 1 tbsp rum 60g dark chocolate 1 tsp vanilla essence Method to make base: 1) Finely crush biscuits. Muffins could be a very filling kind of snack. It can be a breakfast or tea time snacks. I like this muffin because it had carrot in it. Kids sometimes do not like vegetable and with the carrot in a muffin they will eat without realizing there is carrot in the muffin...... ^^ Carrots and Walnut Muffins Ingredients (A): 125ml corn oil 125g brown sugar 1 large egg Ingredients (B): 105g self raising flour 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda 1 tsp cinnamon a pinch of salt Ingredients (C): 100g carrots (grated) 35g walnuts (chopped) 40g pineapple(crunch and drain) Method; 1) Preheat oven at 180c. 2) Beat ingredients (A) until well combined. 3) Add in ingredients (B). 4) Fold in ingredients (C) and pour into ready muffins cases or paper cups. 5) Bake for 18 to 22 minutes. **If you like to frost these muffins, you could do that too with cream cheese frosting. Bread loaf have been everyone favourites I guess. You can eat it plain or spread with jam or sandwich it with sunny sided egg. Bakery is everywhere in my town, Miri...:p You can buy a loaf of bread anytime....why make your own. Its troublesome and it takes at least 2 to 3 hours to make. Anyway trust me, if you have tried once making your own bread, freshly baked from your own oven you will love it. Tea time ~ 9 ~ Pastry Sausage Rolls

Shortcrust pastry is the most versatile pastry and also the easiest one to make. Use it as a base both sweet or savoury pies and tarts. Do this pastry in advance and freeze it for later use... This pastry always come in really handy when you have friends come for afternoon tea...^^ Short Crust Pastry Ingredients: 250g self raising flour pinch of salt 125g pastry margarine 3 or 4 tbsps of cold water 1 packet of sausages 1 egg light beaten Method: 1) Sieve flour and salt in a bowl, rub in pastry margarine until it resembles breadcrumbs. 2) Mix in cold water to form into a soft pilable dough. Knead to bind well. 3) Roll out pastry to a long strip approximately 12cm wide and cut a rectangler, measuring 12cm x 10cm. 4) Place a sausage on the pastry. Then roll up pastry to enclose the sausages. Damp the edges amd seal neatly. 5) Arrange the ready rolls on a baking tray. Brush with beaten egg and prick twice on top of the rolls with a fork. Soursop and Orange CheeseCake

Soursop is my favourite fruit. I love the texture of the flesh and the taste of sour between sweet mixed. It is just yummy, I can eat the whole fruit myself...:p I never try using Soursop to bake a cake, especially a CheeseCake. Now..I am going to give it a try..... This is it, Soursop n Orange CheeseCake This is the whole cake, I make the top of the cake look like a bee hive look. I sandwich the soursop cheese filling between vanilla sponge cake and added segments of oranges into the cheese fillling. The segments of orange is cut into cubes. Ingredients for the vanilla sponge cake: 125g Vanilla sponge premix 5 eggs, size B 60g melted butter 60g water Method: 1) Preheated oven at 180c. 2) Beat sponge premix, eggs and water on low speed for 2 minutes. White chocolate n Blueberry CheeseCake

I have been busy with my little ones recently. Its 5 months now since the arrival of my youngest son Seanan. He really bring so much joy to the family. Today finally I have a few hours of free time so was taking this opportunity to do this White Chocolate n Blueberry CheeseCake. This is my White Chocolate n Bluberry CheeseCake. Ingredients for the base: 250g digestive biscuits~crushed finely 100g butter~melted Method: 1) Crushed the biscuits with a rolling pin or blend it in a blender, finely.
