Welcome to another exciting month of LITTLE THUMBS UP. Last month was a wonderful month (October, theme Soy Bean and our wonderful host Mich from Piece of Cake) , please come HERE to view all the wonderful posts.

Little Thumbs Up is a monthly event organized by Zoe from Bake For Happy Kids and  me My Little Favourite DIY. Each month an ingredient is selected and everyone is welcome to take part in this blog-hop. We have our host with Vivian from Vivian Pang Kitchen and her selected ingredient “Oats”. Cook or bake with any recipes with Oats as its ingredient. Your post(s) must be in this month (only current posts) and link to this post, thumbnail linky provided at the end of this post. In your post please include the following information:

This post is linked to the event, Little Thumbs up organised by Zoe from Bake for Happy Kids and me, My Little Favourite DIYhosted by Vivian from Vivian Pang’s Kitchen.

The post should also include a picture of a Thumbs Up sign with your own photo or using the Little Thumbs Up badge above. To find out more details on Little Thumbs Up, please click HERE.

I am glad Vivian picked 'Oats' as her theme for LTU this month. Oats is healthy and it is a high fiber ingredient either for cooking or baking or just make as into beverage.
好开心, Vivian选择了'燕麦'当她此月份'小姆子说好'的主题. 太棒了!!! '燕麦是种健康又充满纤维的好食才. 可以做煮的, 烤的和饮料等等.

Need to clear some of the ingredients in my pantry after a spring cleaning. There is no 4 season in Malaysia so everyday is a spring time to me..hehehe!! Some coco crunch and oats left in the pantry so i use them to make this super crunchy and additive Coco Crunch Oatmeal Cookies. It is a simple cookies, which you only need to prepare the cookies dough and spoon drop of cookies dough onto a lined baking tray and bake in the oven.

香香,脆脆的可可脆燕麦曲奇越, 越咬越香越吃越香...

Thanks to Ann for the super additive cookie recipe ^_^

Coco Oatmeal Cookies
recipe source adapted from Ann's Cornflakes Cookies

250 g Butter
175 g Icing sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla powder
250 g Plain flour
100g Quaker instant oats
1 tsp Baking powder
160 g Nestle Coco Crunch  (use hand lightly crushed so you can still feel the crisp of coco crunch after baked)

To Do:

Sieve and combine plain flour, oatmeal, baking powder and vanilla powder together with the crushed cornflakes / coco crunch and black currant, set aside.

Cream butter, egg and icing sugar together till white.

Pour in all the plain flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix them together at low speed (do not over beat) then mix well with a spatula.

Shape the cookie dough using a dessert spoon then using a small spatula to push the dough onto the baking sheet.

Bake at preheated oven 180 C for about 15 minutes. Then cool the cookies completely and store into an airtight container.

Just can't stop munching !!!

Two Thumbs Up for you mummy, more cookies please
