2) This is the hand made method: Combine flours, sugar, salt, green tea,
and yeastmix well. Add in egg and milk, mixed until a dough is formed.

3) Lastly, add in butter. Knead slowly until you have a smooth and elastic dough.

4) Leave dough in a clean bowl. Cover with cling foil and leave to rise in a warm
place for 45 minutes or double it size.

5) This part is for both hand made and bread machine user.
Divide dough into 4 portions. Roll into round. Leave it for
10 minutes for easy rolling, later. Roll out the dough and roll
back into a loaf.

6) Place two dough into a loaf pan together or one loaf into a loaf pan.
Leave to rise again for 45 minutes.
Above it the result after 45 minutes risen.

7) Bake in a preheated oven at 190C for 25-30 minutes.

  1. HI,
Have you ever substitite butter with olive oil?

  2. Hi Jade,
I have never try substitute butter with olive oil.
But you can try. Just need to add a little more flour as olive oil is liquid and butter is a bit solid.

Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I would love to hear from you.
