Last two weeks is a very tough week for my family. My father in law was admitted into general hospital (gh) because of his appendix.
He was having a very serious stomach ache that very morning. We sent him to gh instantly and he was diagnose acute appendix problem. He have to be operate immediately (to prevent it from busting) but something is wrong somewhere so he have to wait to observe. He was on drip that day and thank God his pain gone after the drip.
He was then operate the next day and get rid of what should be done. Again thank God he is now discharge from gh and resting at home.

I asked Sam to smile and see how cheeky he smile..LOL
Sam kept asking me what should i add and what should i do next. I felt kind of funny how excited he is with this Bake Along. I was telling him i am going to post in my blog to join all the aunties(hehe) to share this.

Recipe (from Cake Keeper Cakes by Lauren Chattmen)
I am following Lena's and she is making half of the original recipe, which is with sugar reduced, made in a 6 inch round tin
Ingredients
125gm all purpose flour
80gm sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup low fat yoghurt
30ml vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
icing sugar, for dusting
Method:
1) Preheat the oven to 350F/177C. (i used mine at 180C) Grease and flour the bottom and isdes of a 6 inch baking pan. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk together the yoghurt, oil egg and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl. Pour the yoghurt mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just moistened.
2) Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake until top of the cake is light golden and a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes. Let the cake cool in pan for 5 minutes, invert it onto a wire rack then turn right side up on a rack to cool completely. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
This is how Sam and i enjoy the cake...a cup of chinese tea...^^
With Sam's cute picks..:p
