Happy Anniversary ~ 周年纪念日..^^

This is in June (our anniversary) but in Chinese Lunar calendar today is our 12th anniversary. I am taking this opportunity to post it today. If you have read my last post a lot of celebration happens in June. How i wish June will have 40 days instead of 30 days only...lol


Our 12th anniversary..^^
Dear Simon thanks so much for being such a wonderful, supportive, loving hubby for all these years. I really appreciate for what you have done for me. Holding your hand we are going to enjoy, to love and to explore another 12 years or more to come..to you dear..Happy Anniversary..^^


老公, 在一次说声 "我愿意" 在未来的日子里,你的大手着我的小手一起走. 一路走来的酸,甜,苦, 辣,酱,醋, 茶..互相经营和扶持...感恩..^^
我真的很感恩...^^ 你对我的爱护,  体谅和包容. 这一路有你的陪伴, 我不孤独而是幸福的.

今年的周年纪念的蛋糕选来了..Carol老师的咖啡慕欺蛋糕..真巧这个蛋糕也是Carol老师的周年纪念日蛋糕之一. 吃这蛋糕有好幸福,好甜蜜的感觉..^^


~Coffee Mousse Cake..咖啡慕欺蛋糕~

 This is the cake i chose to make for my wedding anniversary. It is a very coffee cake. From the top is a coffee jelly, 2nd part coffee mousse, 3rd part another coffee jelly with whip cream jelly cubes 4th coffee mousse and end with chocolate finger sponge cake. 
You may ask 'how does it taste?'
The taste is awesome..smooth coffee flavomousse, soft and delightful jelly layer with the milky cream jelly cubes..it is simply luscious..;p
But of course, you must be a coffee lover or else you would like the very coffee taste..:p

 ~inside is like a surprise, when i cut i can see the jelly layer with the whip cream jelly cubes and when you have the first bite....~

 ~每一口的咖啡香味..香滑的慕欺夹着爽口的布丁咖啡和鲜奶油布丁力..真的好好吃..:D

  11. Aiyoh, so sweet, your hubby must be feeling sweet sweet too! This cake looks beautiful & I don't have confidence to have such a pretty cake, hahaha! Love the heart-shaped kiwi fruits & the layers of jelly, my god, this is a difficult cake to make for my standard!My birthday cake is always restricted to cheesecake, easy to make & everyone will eat!

Shark Fin Dumpling ~鱼翅饺

This Shark Fin Dumpling (yu chi gow), is one of my favorite dumpling. Although it is named Shark Fin Dumpling, but they contain no actual shark fin in it. Some say the look and shape of the dumpling does look like shark fin and other do include in imitation shark fin, though. I am lucky to have spotted this long hibernating in the book shelf chinese dim sum book ‘香港地道小吃’ translated as 'Hong Kong Authentic Tapas' Well, Do, you find this look like Shark's Fin?? 看看形状像不像鱼翅呢??  Filling for the ingredients are prawn, mince meat, carrot, yam bean and black fungus. Get ready the filling and the wanton wrappers. This is the parade of my Shark's Fin dumpling ... lol Homemade parchment paper liner. Arrange them neatly into the bamboo steamer. HOT! HOT! Marble Butter Cake .. 云石奶油蛋糕 - Bake Along #59

My fil (father in law) loves butter cake very much.  He loves the butter aroma and  he said its filling and not like cotton soft cake has no texture like butter cake and it is too soft and too spongy :p :p  我家公爱吃奶油蛋糕. 他说奶油蛋糕香,有口感又吃的包. 不像海面蛋糕太柔软了,咬没东西. >< 糕 It has got a almost flat top :D The side are nice straight and flat. Can't wait to taste the cake. I slice the cake when it is still warm. 不能等了!! 蛋糕还没凉透,就切了.   This is the first slice, first bi
