Steam Cake with Chicken Floss
Ingredients A:
5 eggs
150g castor sugar
1 tbsp stabillizer
3 tbsp fresh milk
Ingredients B:
200g plain flour, mixed with 1tsp baking powder, sieved
Ingredients C:
1 tbsp corn oil
50g chicken floss
1 tbsp fried shallots
Method:
1) Line a 8" cake tin with parchment paper.
2) Whisk ingredients A at high speed until white and fluffy.
3) Mix in B with low speed. Lastly add corn oil and mix well.
4) Pour half of the batter into the lined basket and sprinkle
chicken floss on top of the batter. Slowly pour in the
remaining of batter and sprinkle fried shallots on top.
5) Steam the cake at high heat for 30 minutes.
